"Ichi, ni, san... igo!" (one, two, three... go!) Yelled Daiki. The young students, who were paired into two, began to circle one another. It was a beginners class today and they were learning the basics - etiquette, the different postures and footwork and how to swing the sword. Daiki walked around the kids as he watched them individually. His focus lately wasn't all that great for he kept on having that girl, Alisa, from Wal-mart on his mind.
As he walked around he fixed some of the kids' footwork. He placed them differently and moved them this way and that way. Some of the kids felt like giving up but Daiki fixed their minds when ever he gave them a cool move that motivated them to continue. Daiki pushed up his glasses and grabbed one of the 'shinai'(practice sword).
He went up to the front of the room and demonstrated a move. The kids clapped but Daiki only smiled and gave them a bow. Daiki then went over to the group of little kids and bent down to their level, "Alright, that's enough for today. I'll see you all next week." The kids smiled, bowed and said, "Goodbye, Daiki-sensei(teacher)." And the kids ran out of the building with smiles.
Daiki ran his hand through his hair and went to the attendance books. He ran his finger through the list and pushed his glasses up his nose again. He heard the bell on the door open and Daiki simply said without turning around, "The next class is tomorrow..."

Alisa might not have had family in the town, but that didn't mean her friends didn't. One just happened to be late for one of the kendo classes she had been taking. Though her sister was running around trying to get ready Alisa offered to take the girl to the class. Knowing full well who was there. Thanks to the card she was given to by Daiki. He seemed to be on her mind since walmart, for a reason she was yet to figure out, but she hoped maybe once she saw him again, that he wouldn't linger in her mind anymore. She could only hope.
"Delilah come on!!!!" She was trying to get her to run a bit faster. They had parked in the wrong area her and Delilah, and now they where making a run for it, basically jogging to get there before her class ended. All the way to there it had been yelling, mostly the little girl at the werewolf. But Alisa was making sure she was going to get there, either late or not.
The two ran around people, getting looks as they went. Though the two dark heads couldn't really care at the moment. Alisa's hair seemed to move around her, as her blue eyes gazed in front of her, her moving swifter than a normal person would be able to.
With a triumphant 'ha!' Alisa stopped. Trying to gain her breathing back and waiting for the girl to get beside her, and when she was Alisa opened the door, hearing a small ring from above. There he stood, and when he said the class was over, basically that's what he said, Delilah pouted. Alisa couldn't help the grin that was on her face. "Ah! You mean we missed it?!" Though before she could place her hands on the little girls shoulders she marched out the door, mad that she missed it. She was going home, the two had after all ran two blocks to get there.

Daiki was still counting the books and looking at all the profit they made this month. He smiled as all the figures were up to date and that he finally had time to practice for his own today. Daiki turned around and just saw Delilah leave the room, "Oi, Delilah come back here!" Daiki yelled but it was too late, Delilah was gone. Then Daiki's eyes saw the girl that was taking over his mind, Alisa.
The Japanese man gave a grin and pushed up his glasses. He then folded his arms and his grin went to a smirk. Then he said, "I'm sorry Miss but we're closing for the day. Unless..." Daiki then chuckled a bit, "Unless you're here for a private lesson." Daiki couldn't hold it any further of being Mister Smooth, he let his smile go and he said, "Hey..." Simple as that.

"Aposkorakizô!" Her eyes trailed the way Delilah had ran, though Alisa hadn't figured out she had spoken in Greek. "Knew i should have talked her into it a little earlier." Her native tongue seemed to drop. She knew she should have talked her friend into taking her a while before. But it seemed to slip her mind as she watched the two run around trying to get the stuff done.
She didn't plan on running after her, it would be a waist, it would be quick for her to get back home, just like it had been for the two to get there. Alisa made a motion with her hand when he said they where closed; about private lessons. "Oh darn, i must have missed the sign up day!" She wanted to just start laughing, though she tried to keep a straight face, and for the most it was working.
Though her smile threw it off. When he said hey, she couldn't hold it longer, she had to let the laugh come out of her lips. "Hey right back."

After Alisa said her words, Daiki went over to get two 'shinai'. He took one in either hand and then walked over to Alisa. But before giving one to her he smiled and said, "Sign up day is whenever by the way." He took one of her hands and put the wooden sword in it.
He then walked away and asked, "Ready to learn? Good. Now first this is called a shinai." He pointed to his own and gave Alisa a grin, "Second you hold it with two hands. And thirdly you start in a position like this." Daiki demonstrated. His feet were spread apart and the shinai was held in front of him. Daiki looked to Alisa and began to wonder if he was going to fast, "Am I going too fast?" He asked with a grin.

She had to blink, and her head tilted when he moved.Just like always, just like before, her denim eyes stayed with him and her dark hair slid off of her shoulder. Was he going to teach her? That was all she could think before her hand was grabbed and something was placed into it. Her eyes gazed down. It was the wooden stick! She had to blink and think for a moment.
Alisa wouldn't be normal when doing this. She'd have to hold back, just for him. He was after all a human. And though it might have taken hours upon hours, maybe even days for a human to learn, it most likely wouldn't take her long. It would be just like high school sports. She'd have to stop doing everything the normal way.
She copied his movements, holding the 'shinai' with both hands in front of her, and standing like he was. The werewolf was at least trying to show that sh couldn't get as fast. Though that wasn't working, her feet where just like his. She had been trained at home, by her father, he became the alpha leader a year before she left. Alisa wasn't good when it came to acting like she couldn't do something, so it would be hard not to show him that she could catch it in a few minutes.
Her grin came back when he asked if he was going to fast, that's when her Greek tongue came in. " Òχι " She mentally slapped herself. "Ha, i mean nope."

After staying still for several seconds so Alisa could see what he was doing, Daiki moved. He began to circle around the girl. He felt sort of bad for doing it but he had to make sure she was getting. Daiki was pleased at what he saw until he saw her hands. He reached out and took hold of her hands and moved them just slightly, "They should be closer together, like this." Daiki didn't realize that he holding her hands longer than needed but his face was so close to hers and his eyes were gazing into hers that nothing else mattered.
Daiki then realized what he was doing and stood back. His face was turning a little bit pink but Daiki pushed it away as took hold of his shinai again. He then did the same move as Alisa was and then suddenly lunged forward and hit Alisa's shinai. Daiki gave a chuckle and said, "I hope I didn't scare you. First rule, my rule, don't show your fear."

It worked? She had really made it look like she did something wrong? Apparently she did, though she had tried to make the foot work look not as good, it seemed to match his almost perfectly, she wasn't an expert yet. The hand work was the one she seemingly messed up on, with out meaning to do it. Now she seemed top fight the blush that was itching it's way to her face when he moved her hands, his still on hers after he moved the closer to one another.
He was so close, his face and hers at least. Her breathing became shallow slightly, not use to having someone that close to her; more or so a guy. He moved back, and Alisa seemed to forget about the 'lay low' thing. Her sense heightened, and her denim eyes saw his movements better, making her block faster than she wanted. He'd notice something, he just would, she couldn't help her movements, once they heightened it would take hours to being them back down. The ringing of wood hitting wood rang in her ears, before it was gone.
That's easy for you to do and say. You don't have something to hide from the world. She had to think that, though she didn't show the fear of him finding out what she was, it was there, deep down. Alisa didn't voice what she said, but her voice came out sort of teasing, she was still concentrating. "And what would my fear be?"

She blocked it well. He didn't expect her do so. But Daiki backed off after he attacked and gave a grin. He pushed up his glasses again and held the shinai firmly in hand. Daiki's grin came into a smirk and said, "I don't know. I'll have to find out. And soon I hope." Daiki then walked off and put away his shinai. He went to a drink of water and came back to Alisa. He was about to say something when he heard his name coming from the back.
Next thing he knew his brother Ryo came at him with a bokken, a more formal sword. In a quick motion, Daiki dropped the finished cup of water and did a flip over his brother. He grabbed another bokken and hit the back of his brother's back. Which sent Ryo do the ground dropping his bokken at the same time. Daiki then laughed, "You're losing your touch, Ryo. I think college has made you forget your love of kendo." Ryo moved on his back and gave a laugh, "Whatever you think little brother."
Daiki put out a hand for his brother and Ryo took it. Daiki helped him up and Ryo slapped his brother on the back. Which left Daiki coughing. The brothers looked nothing alike. Though they were both tall they didn't have the same eyes or hair color. And Ryo was a bit more on the heavy side. The older brother turned around and looked at Alisa and back to Daiki, "Who's this Daiki?" After Daiki gave several coughs he said, "This is Alisa. I met her several days ago at the Wal-mart."
Ryo then gave a huge grin and said, "Oh, so this is the girl that has been keeping your mind away. Well it's nice to meet you Alisa." He gave a slight bow and Daiki tackled his brother. He told his brother to go away and Ryo left the room with a laugh and rubbing his back.

She had to blink, she was for sure he would have thought her different because how fast her movement had been. Fear shown in her eyes for a moment, then it was gone. He wouldn't have known, wouldn't he have said something about it? He seemed like the type, well for now he did. Alisa hadn't known him for long after all. She had met him at walmart!
Alisa gave an unhearable laugh and smiled slightly when he said he'd hope to figure it out soon. She wouldn't let that happen. She did it once in Athens, her friend freaked, know one believed him when he told someone, but she had been in trouble with her father. He seemed to hate her when people called him crazy for saying such a thing. She never told someone again; she wouldn't either. She would keep it a secret, though if they where something other than a human they would know. They would catch her scent.
Her hands almost covered her ears when she heard a small yell from the back. It hurt her ears slightly, though that was because her hearing had heightened, when she didn't want them to do it. She couldn't help it though, her notice of smell was the same. She could smell the other person coming there way, another human. Alisa frankly liked the human race, better than her own some times. Her father had never been keen with her being around so many as a child. Always thought they'd figure it out.
Her denim blue eyes stayed with the two, her laughing as they seemingly fought. She didn't have a sibling, so she had never seen such a thing take place. She tried to figure it out, the two didn't look a thing a like, and neither did their scent, so that made her wonder. They where both tall, but what else was it? Alisa waved her hand a bit, when his brother finally noticed she was there. Such violence! she was laughing on the inside, and when his brother was out of the room, she stated what she thought. "You two look nothing a like." Her grin had come back on her face.

Daiki shook his head at his brother, such a klutz and didn't think things through. It was always like this but Ryo always made him laugh. As he watched his brother walk away massaging his back, Daiki gave a chuckle. He then heard Alisa say her words. The Japanese guy turned to her and looked at her and returned her grin.
He then nodded his head, "Yeah, you're right. But that's how it is when one is adopted. I was adopted by the Takahoshi family when I was four. I've been here ever since. That was my brother, Ryo. He's not completely right in the head," Daiki couldn't help but laugh. He left Alisa to put up both of the bokken. As he was picking up things he continued to talk, "You see there are different ranks in kendo. The highest being, Hachi-dan or eighth dan, and that's where I rank. My brother on the other hand is about roku-dan or sixth dan. So you can see I'm a higher and more experienced fighter than my brother, even though he's two years older. I don't know why he attacks me so."
Another laugh came out of his lips and he looked at Alisa more carefully. He had a concerned face and asked, "Are you okay, Alisa?"

Alisa moved from where she stood, picking up both the bokken that had been dropped by the brothers. He seemed to have left them for her to do, so that was what she was doing. Though he was picking up other things, she wanted to help him out a bit. She was listening to every word he said.
He was an orphan? That almost made her aw, but she stopped. That would mean she'd act girly. She almost shivered at the thought of doing it. And was glad she didn't. Her grin stayed on when he said that was his brother, she had figured that much out when the two called each other brother. " I never had siblings, must be fun every now and then." She had to laugh when he said he wasn't right in the head. "Who is? I mean really?" She was joking around again. Though she kept listening to him, she thought it was sort of cool that he was so high in rank.
Though before she got to voice that, he asked her something, and she had to look up, with the swords in her hand. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." She hid her blush, along with closing her mouth making sure her teeth couldn't be looked at. Was he catching on? She hoped not, if he looked at her canines, he'd see something different.
She decided to change the subject, half her mind not believing what she was doing. Alisa walked away putting the bokken where he had gotten his. "Hey Daiki." She paused "There's a fair next week." She turned back around, her hands on her back, rocking on her heels, looking like a little kid. "I was wondering if you'd like to go.. with me."
