[Melody] Talking is where we start

Hinata had came home after coming back from the good workout on the tennis court. He had never planned to run into Melody whom is now to be found out as his twin sister. She was just out there and luck seemed to have made them crossed paths so easily.


Hinata showered up and begun to tell the chefs to prepare a nice meal for this evening. He then went upstairs to work on his music. With many new things happening in his life much more was to be written of course. His music was based off of his life mostly and sometimes other things happening around him. He just finds most of his inspiration that way.


Hinata couldn't really concentrate though, he just kept seeing Melody's face playing through the the thoughts of his own mind. He tried to erase all the snagged marks she said to him and just see her as his sister. But it was hard to do, no matter what she was still a bad word to him before.


Hinata laughed at the thought of that to himself a bit. He then carried on to write more music while sitting out on the balcony of his two story home. It wasn't a mansion, but it was big enough for him and his father when he was home.


He would wait and ponder about the things that were to be said for later this evening.

Melody never thought in her dreams she would trust that man.It was somthing between them though that triggered something inside her mind to trust him.He was her twin brother.That was amazing for the fact that he was a singer and had cd's, and the fact she wasn't the only one left out there.


She was now rideing her bike around and she came to a stop.Looking at the card she ran up to a stranger and asked were to go.They looked at her weird and pointed the way.So She thanked them and rode off to what was supose to be her brothers house.She had never thought in her life....for her dream of not being the only one in her family...to be related to someone and able to say she wasn't fully alone in life.


She didn't shower or anything but, she came the way she was.Her hair was clean and so was her body.She hadn't reacked today or gotten hert...so she wasn't really dirty.Her mom didn't care were she was at, so she just made sure she was home for at least an hour so her mom would see her face....even though Melody didn't want to she hers.


She wouldn't change for her brother...eww that word lingered in her head as she walked with her bike up the massive hill.She looked down, He had called her a intruder.....should she intrude on his life now with the music going for him...she was just a twin sister that kept her mind in the clouds and her feet on the skates and bikes....Melody was a good singer and she had a few lyrics she made herself but, nothing she would ever show Hinata.


She looked at the adress of the house and then at the car.She looked down the street....everything seem to match....she looked at the house at the end of the driveway and she kept debating with herself.She looked down at herself and remebered what he looked like.....she was diffrent and she had been mean to him.So she walked up to the house.It was almost dark outside...around the time of dinner.She placed her bike to the side and ran to door bell.

The butler guy looked at her and rolled his eyes.She knew that was coming her way.

Hinata looked at his clock hanging from the wall and he knew it was time for Melody to be showing up soon enough. He wasn't going to dress way out for her. He didn't want her to think she wasn't special, but it wasn't like he was meeting some other famous person. So he just wore something casual. A black striped red t-shirt and his made ripped jeans.


He ran down the stairs when he was sure he heard the door bell but stayed hidden at the staircase when his butler opened the door. The butler had showed Melody into the house past the foyer and into the informal living room space. In this room you may see a fire place, coco brown painted walls, matching drapes on the huge windows shut closed, a dim light from a covered lamp and some pictures on the mantle piece along with other decorations.


The butler didn't seemed pleased to see Melody but he would be on his best behavior for now. He did a small bow and walked out of the room to inform Hinata of her arrival, but he of course already knew this. He ran into his butler coming down the stairs and was projected backwards onto his but.


"Oh...prying again were you?" said Mr. Jonas, also known as the butler. Hinata just gave a small smirk and got up onto his feet again. He then walked past the butler into the living room where he would find Melody alone for now.


"Hello...again..." he said as he was standing at the door his arms were folded as usual.

Melody still had her baggy pants on and her shirt.Just normal cloths for a girl to wear...well girls like her.The ones that love to think and do and not hold back anything.She was one to go for it and if she fails, she would try again.Like the day she fell from one of her own made up tricks.Head first into the bowl.She rembered her guy friends picking her up and helping her to the hospital.A week latter she was back at the bowl, perfecting the trick.


The butler seem to dislike her.She couldn't help but, want to laugh at this.Lost of people disliked her and she would have to learn to roll it off her shoulders.She looked at the room it was good looking with no posters or anything.He wasn't a normal nineteen year old anyway.He was a famous singer and her brother.That didnt' matter to her though.She looked at Hinata like a normal person as if she just met him and he was no more important then any other person.So she simply would treat her like anyone els.



Melody didn't feel so welcomed and it was quit well odd to be here.She looked down and kicked her foot a little.Maybe she shouldn't of came and should of just spaired both her and Hinata.She looked at the butlers and one of them kept looking at her.It was a girl not to much older then she was.She was scared though of her though because of her wild hair color.Melody smerked.


She turned around and looked at Hinata and sighed. "You know i kind of...well debated on myself on coming here....you butlers seem mad and scared at me...that and one of them seems to look at me werid because of my hair.Hinata I came here because i thought i should of.But, if this is going to be inturding into your life....I don't want to be the intruder....I'm just well not expecting any of this." She was going to flat out tell him. "Now Hinata you choose..You want to know me for not...because your life might not have so much time to have a sister....my life, well look at me....dose it look like i'm that busy." She said looking at him and seeing him cross his arms.

Hinata walked into the room with his arms still folded and a sly expression on his face. He went over to stand by the fireplace and mess with the little figurines placed there by his father's decorator.


He then looked to Melody trying to figure this girl out was a tough job in itself. He unfolded his arms and gestured for her to have a seat on the sofa meaning he was here to talk nothing more. He wouldn't sit here and listen to her sob stories about feeling like an intruder and all this crap. She wanted to learn something so why act as if she didn't really care to know.


"You must be so anxious....coming all this way." he said and his eyes were on the pictures. He grabbed one and walked over to hand one to Melody. It was of their father. He was tall and had the brownish colored hair just like Hinata. He had a nice smile to. He looked to still be young only because he was indeed a ageless man living as a vampire.


"That is Kentaro...our father. When he is not working he can actually be a nice guy to hang around. He isn't all serious and these things. He's actually very fun loving and a free spirit. But that of course is when he isn't working..."


Hinata took a seat himself a little away from Melody not to sit too close. He didn't want to make her or himself uncomfortable.


"Now ask your questions...and I'll try to answer..." he said and his face was still serious but with a touch of kindness.

Melody looked at him and then watched the sun go down.That was just great.She dug in her pocket and grabbed her phone texting her mother telling her not to worry.Her mom should know that at least.She wasn't just ready to tell her mom about meeting the brother that she kept hidden from her for nineteen years of her life.


Melody wanted to be here..but, she wanted nothing more then information.She didn't know anything about her brother nor about her father.It was no big deal.She made it this far didn't she.No need to have sob stories.The inter world had them.So she had that in her pocket a little saying. " Everything and everyone is pittiefull but, paint on your smile and get over your life while you still have one." She was doubtfull for being here.She was a intruder like he had said before on the corts.


She was nervious to come here.Just look at all the looks she got from people.She hadn't been her for long when she moved here.So dirty looks is all she got.In the skate park though was a diffrent storie.People just staired and shrugged.Witch was better then the nasty comments she had just going down the road.

She looked at him and sighed.She dug in her phone agian and with smite in her eyes she flipped out a picture of her mother in her wallet. "This is mother.Sora.She's very, well nice and loveing....a good singer and she well lets say she doesn't like to talk much." It was a women that looked like Melody a little bit.One could tell Melody was changing her hair and her makeup and her way of living so she wasn't like her. "She's a delicate,swift moving, and wise women when it comes down to the britle bone." Melody said handing her the picture. "Take it...you'll want it more then me. She said relaxing a little and placing the picture on the sofa.


Melody then looked down and shrugged. " I guess whats it like to grow up being you...." She looked the other way hidding her face and then lookind down at her hands. "I mean you knew about me...but, i didn't know anything." She started to tape the back of her food and looking off forward because it made her mad to think about this stuff. "Whats it like to grow up as you are now.....threw your life....what was it like is the question i really want to ask" She was still tapping her foot in a rythme now....

Hinata was sitting here thinking about how great it was to finally meet his long lost twin, but just the same thinking of how he really imagined it would be like. Completely different, and a completely different person he would have expected to be sitting here now. He couldn't pick his family just as he couldn't pick himself not being what he is truly.


He looked down to the ground for a moment while Melody talked to him. He gave a small smile when she asked her first question. He shrugged his shoulders and looked to her with his deep hazel eyes now.


"What is it like growing up being me? Well I can wrap it up in one big word...an adventure. I have gone through a lot with my dad and with my music. It's been a long and fun journey I must say, but just the same it hasn't been easy. Nothing is easy for anyone."


"I pretty much was abandoned as I grew older, father became more interested in work than me. So I lost myself into music and is where I found out where I truly belonged. Among the world of lyrics. You see life is kind of like music. It can be depressing, happy, inspiring, down right mean, and sometimes even mysterious or suspenseful. But the more your fed the more you want subsiding the parts that made you cry or angry. Because in the end you can't live without music because music is us and we are music."


Suddenly a butler came into the room and told them dinner would be ready soon. Hinata nodded and turned back to look at Melody.


"I guess there is something out there for everyone to keep them full and complete, some how music completed me. But along with music came more questions and no answers. I can't tell you how much this really means to me Melody...is too much for words to even describe. I may have grew up privileged and with many friends, but none of that matters if I didn't feel happy on the inside...deep down I felt like I was missing something. Something big, something worth my wild of knowing about. I guess that something is you."


Hinata stopped speaking for a second and grabbed the picture of his mother off the sofa. "Music is like my soul...it is high spirited and always searching for new end possibilities."

Melody looked at him he had blue eyes and she had green but, whe she looked at him.She saw someone she would die for maybe in the future.Like her brother, she listened to his words and it all made sence.She had listen to her brothers songs for as long as they have been coming out.Melody looked down at her hands and for the first time being around Hinata she gave a smile.A true smile that ment she understood, that was one thing she knew about Hinata and Herself.They both loved music.


She had made Lyrics up herself but, they were just at times of need and despreate wants in needs in life.When she was at her lowest of lows or when she was content.She never thought she would ever have another perosn in her family ever.She had a tent to her eyes this time as though she was really thinking.She was thinking about the song she had made up just a few months ago.The things I know i let slip right b-y.Never to have a dream to come a li-ve. Melody smirked at the lyric she made up and looked at Hinata.


"Ya know, I love music too.It's when your soul" She looked forward and paused and smirk."It's when you give up and you have nothing left but, the people you think you have around you.The music seems to hold you up and make sure that you relize life is't yet gone and your dream could alive someday.Each rythem, each note and each and every word means somthing no one can describe for it tells the world what life really is.Music is medicen for all hearts even when somthing had sliped by you." Melody winked and looked at him as she softly said. "The Think I know I let slip b-y" She took a breath and the note seem to linger around for it was a half note. "Never to see ah dream to come a li-ve" She smirked and rolled her eyes at herself.She stoped the little phrase and looked at him. "I guess you did make a dream come alive for me Hinata.You proved to me I wasn't alone." She said looking at him with a smile.

Hinata sat there and the soft smile remained on his face for a while. He sat there on the sofa wondering what Melody would say, he was practically just babbling.


He heard her little rhyme phrase and it made him grin even more. He then took a notice to her spoken words.



"You like music as much as I do eh? That was pretty cool...that phrase in all. Could I borrow it? I mean...well if you wanted me to that is."


He wasn't sure why or what he was asking. He was happy they had some kind of connection here, through music it seemed. It was becoming more clear that they were really alike more than they thought, or he thought.


"Dinner is served sir..." said the butler coming back into the room. Hinata gave a simple nod and the butler walked away.


"Well we can continue to talk in the dinning room..." he suggested with a small smirk upon his face. He then begun to lead the way out of the room to the dinning room where they were to become seated.

Melody looked at him as he asked his question.She nodded yes. "See I just come up with things.I don't care if you take it or not." She said with a smile and giving him the peace sign with her fingers and closeing one eye, sticking her tounge out. "Your my brother.I'm supose to let you barrow things and to remeber my words.As i am for you as well.I'm not famuse for my words but, i'm known for them." She said getting up and looking at the butler.


It was a man this time looking up and down at her.He seem not to really like her because of the looks.She noticed their were a lot of maids and butlers. "My turn to ask something.." She said with a smirk following him. " Why don't you cook your own food Hinata.I mean it looks like the bulters and maids aren't to thrilled doing it." She said looking at them all.


They seem to look at her with shock.Her eyebrow twitched and she tapped her foot once. "I swear if they keep loking at me like that.I'm going to...eww I don't know yell or smack the guys across the head.Stupid looks." She thought following Hinata waiting on his answer.

Hinata was on his way out the door when he heard Melody ask another question. The butlers and maids were still around and they seemed to gasp by her given question. Hinata just gave out a small laugh.


"Well because if I cook I may just end up with no house, meaning I will burn it down. I can't cook worth a damn. It's better these guys cook the food."


Hinata laughed some more and scratched his head, he was still standing in the door way. "So does this mean you can cook or something?"



Hinata looked to the butlers and the maids with their eyes of widened and he just gave them a smile and they scurried off. He then walked out of the room and into the dinning room.



It was the small dinning room, there was a larger one for more guest. There was a small rectangular shiny black table in this contemporary styled dinning room.


The food was set out for them. There was a salad and some shrimp pasta along with a cold beverage. It was much better than when Hinata's father tried to cook, or him.


Hinata became seated at the head of the small table and sat there waiting for Melody to join him. He was only hoping that this served meal was okay for her. Hinata was a big fan of seafood and pasta partly because he's from an italian family and then seafood is just delicious period. But if this wasn't okay for Melody she could always just eat the niclely prepared tossed ceasar salad and the maids could whip something else up just as quick.

Melody couldn't hold it back.She busted into laughter and looked at the butlers and maids. "I promis someday to make you guys dinner alright.Don't worry i'm a good cook." She said laughing and smiling.She had white teeth and she was a good cook unlike her mother who really well sucked at cooking.

"Yes i'm a good cook.Unlike my mother who i think will kill the cat we own if she is caught cooking tuna ever again." Melody laughted looking at Hinata in the door way.


Melody looked at the food and she knew she liked all of it.It would be nice to eat somthing good once in a while becuase her mom would bye fast-food.She sat down and looked at him as she crossed her legs.She couldn't help but,smile. "Looks like we have the same tast buds." She said looking at the butler that was stairing at her.She couldn't help but, wonder what Serg would do if he was here.She wondered if she should tell her brother of Serg.No not yet, not until, or when ever they got closer would be nicer to mentiont the guy she ran into.


Melody looked at Hinata."Your turn to ask a question."
