Artemis tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for her food to be brought to her. Having ran a long way to arrive at this town, she was really hungry and hated to have to wait for food. Maybe I should have just hunted for food instead of coming here. She thought to herself as she held in a growl. She glanced around the diner then saw a waitress coming with her food. After the waitress set down the food, Artemis started to eat while doing her best not to look like a slob while she ate quickly.

Out from the forest came out a lone man. His steps were graceful and predatory as of a cat. Tonight he was to meet a man... a business deal was to be sealed and he did... only to find the man dead. He hadn't even touched the guy, he had just found him dead and sprawled his jaws had been ripped away from his face and guts were strewn about the place. A horrible sight it was but it also angered Griffin. He sighed and headed towards a diner. He looked down at his black long-sleeved shirt and found no stains on it, however it wasn't fully buttoned so that it showed off his muscular chest. His jeans fit him snugly and showed that he had an actual ass.
Griffin entered the diner running a hand through his hair as he entered. His emerald gaze swept in the view of the entire area and one person caught his eye. From the scent he could tell it was a werewolf... a very beautiful werewolf. " Enough... you aren't here for that.." he though mentally slapping himself. It didn't take long for him to attract attention however and it really irritated him, but he hid that emotion away and replaced his irritation with a smile. A waitress seated him on the next table to the werewolf he had eyed up. So he sat and ordered a drink while he let his penetrating gaze study Artemis.

Artemis continued to eat, but more slowly to enjoy each bite now that the initial hunger was gone. She wasn't paying any attention to her surroundings and just kept it on her food, as if she didn't pay attention to it, it would just disappear. After awhile, she felt eyes on her and the scent of a vampire close by hit her nose. Glancing up, she looked around and her eyes finally fell on Griffin. Blushing slightly at his intense, penetrating gaze, she gave him a slight smile the looked back at her food. She then went back to eating while trying to ignore him.
Finding it difficult to concentrate on eating, she set down her utensils and leaned back in the chair while keeping her eyes from looking over again. She grabbed her drink up and drank the rest of the water then put it down softly as her eyes quickly glanced at him again. Don't gawk at the man. She thought to herself as she forced her eyes back to her food.

Griffin carefully smiled and he let his gaze finally wonder around the room, but finding the room boring he let his gaze stray back to Artemis. The waitress came back with his drink, her smile as big as life and he could tell what she wanted fron him. Griffin's smile drifted away slowly and he let his gaze soften a bit so that it wouldn't frighten anyone. A sigh escaped his lips and he rubbed his hand on his strained eyes. " I'm Cassidy and may I ask who you are?" the waitress said in a voice that rang so false. " Pleasure meeting you Cass, my name is Griffin." he answered politely, his voice sweet as melted chocolates.
His gaze strayed back to Artemis and a thought ran across his mind. " She looks even more beautiful when she's blushing." was his thought. The small smile that he had given her was charming and he wondered what it would be like if she fully smiled at him. And he also wasn't blind when he noticed her glances at him. He didn't want to seem bold and drive her away, he wanted to get to know her and perhaps be her friend. Looking at the waitress he smiled a brilliant smile. He heard Cassidy's heart beat faster than the norm as he had shined his smile at her. " Would you please send that beautiful lady over there a 3 island shot and this will be your tip." he said in her ear.
Seeming to understand, Cassidy simply nodded and smiled brilliantly back. Griffin handed her a bunch of cash and simply stood up, sucked his drink back and walked slowly beside Artemis's table. " Miss..." he said in a deep voice that could melt any maiden's heart. And with the greeting he nodded his head to the beautiful werewolf. " You are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on..." he told her telepathically when he brushed her shoulder "accidentally". He murmured his apology and was walking out.

Artemis continued to keep her focus on eating her food. It was almost gone and soon she'd have to find something else to focus on. However, she soon heard him stand up and start to walk past her. She then looked up as he spoke in a deep voice and blushed slightly. Then when he brushed her shoulder and heard him inside her head her blush deepened as she watched him walk out. She stared after him then a drink was put in front of her. She looked up at the girl. "I didn't order this." She said softly.
The waitress gave her a slight smile. "I know. That man who has just left bought it for you." The waitress then walked away while Artemis looked at the drink then back up at the door. She then picked up the drink and sniffed it. It smelled nice so she she quickly drank it then finished her food. She put a tip on the table, paid for her food, then hurried out the door. I can't believe I'm doing this. She thought as she went after Griffin. He is a vampire after all. A hot looking vampire. But I guess him being a vampire doesn't matter...my mom's a vampire and that doesn't bother me. She thought to herself.

Walking out of the door he was about to continue when he noticed he had forgotten to get his human friend some food. That was also one of his reasons for going to the diner after all. But his thoughts also kept drifting to the female he couldn't help but stare. He hadn't done alot of gawking towards females lately, and god help him, there were alot of willing women when it came towards him. Turning back around he headed back in only to bump into Artemis. The collision was unexpected and he probably might have made her fall if it weren't for his quick reflexes that he caught her. His had snaked out around her waist and had dragged her body right against his. A shocking feeling of pleasure pulsed throughout his whole being.
Looking down at Artemis he gave her a small seductive smile. " I'm so sorry, I didn't see you." he apologized. Alright he wasn't really that sorry but he thought he should just atleast say it out of politeness. While his hand had gone around her waist, his other hand was holding her hand. How it had gotten there he didn't know, but he kind of liked the feel of her hand in his. Small but strong. Her hand was smooth and soft. Her body against his was as if she was made for him. She fit perfectly against him. Griffin's hold loosened a bit for her just in case she might want to bolt out of his grasp then she could. He wasn't the type to hold a woman's will against her. " Are you hurt?" he asked, concern filling his emerald eyes.

Artemis wasn’t expecting to run into something and was prepared to feel the pain of a fall; however, she soon felt an arm around her waist and pulled towards what she had run into. She looked to see that it was him, the vampire she had gone after. She hadn’t been expecting him to be so close to the entrance of the diner. His seductive smile made a shiver run up her spine and she couldn't speak for a few to answer his question, however, she didn’t try to escape from his hold.
“I’m…fine…just a little shocked. I didn’t expect to literally run into you.” She said softly looking down at her hand that was in his. She then looked back up into his eyes. They were a nice color and she found that they complimented his face very well. She also liked the feel of his arm around her waist and her body pressed up against his. “Thanks for not letting me fall.” She said a bit louder with a smile and slight blush on her cheeks.
