Lacey leaned against a large tree using it shade to block out the horrid heat of the sun. It was half working. She sighed looking out into the surrounding trees. If she would have known she would be dealing with so much heat she might have stay back in the cold feilds of ice back home. She shook her head knowing she didn't want to return there again. The heat was bareable but the memories from that place were not.
Lifting her hands in the air she focused some of her power into the air making the area in a ten foot radius around her colder. "That's better," She said with a sigh. "I wonder how long it will be till it is winter. I'm not used to it being any other season." She sighed again and closed her eyes.

Cecile stomped away from the photo shoot crew. She was pissed beyond reason. They tried to call her back but she was too far away from them now to hear them. As she walked she muttered to herself, "Urge. I hate people that schedule these photo shoots in the daylight! I hate the sun and this heat!" She said walking through the forest.
The model was cranky she hadn't had any good human blood in awhile and the sun was just making it worse. She wiped off the sweat from her brow and said aloud, "I hate this weather and this sun! Go away!" She yelled to the skies. All of a sudden Cecile felt colder and she began to wonder why.
When the cold hit her, Cecile stopped in her tracks and looked around. There was nothing out of the unusual. The only thing Cecile saw was a girl standing in the shade under a tree. She stood still and stared at the girl.

Lacey's eyes openned and she head turned slowly to look at the new arrival. Her brown eyes watched the woman with a calmness to them. "Don't worry..." She said softly, her voice very clear. "I don't like the sun either." She said looking towards the sky. A line of light struck her face and she stepped closer to the tree getting as far from the light as possible. She turned back to the woman. "I wasn't expecting to see anyone out here, but welcome." She bowed her head slightly in her direction.

Cecile's gaze and posture calmed down as the woman spoke. It was soft but very clear. Cecile put her hands on her hips and looked to the woman. She listened to her speak about the sun. Cecile's gaze went up and she cursed the sun one more time and moved under the protection of a tree shading a lot of ground.
The French Vampire was a bit shocked on how this woman was acting. And it brought thoughts to her mind, 'I wasn't expecting to see anyone out here, but welcome...? What's that supposed to mean? Is this her forest or something?' She shook the thoughts away and gave a small bow back and said, "Thank... you. I wasn't expecting you either for that fact. I'm trying to blow off steam from the stupid photographers." Cecile sighed and leaned against the tree forgetting that she was wearing a really expensive gown.

"I've just stopped here on my travels to get out of the sun." She said watching her. "Your dress is very beautiful, and so are you. I can see why they would want to photograph you." She leaned against the tree next to her looking out at the trees surround them. "I'm Lacey..." She said with a smile. "May I ask your name?"

Cecile looked at the corner of her eye as she listened to Lacey. Her cheeks then turned pink as the girl complimented her. Cecile's gaze and head turned to Lacey as she introduced herself. She grinned and said, "Thank you for the compliments. And I'm," She gave a small cough that she had to get out, "Cecile Rousseau. It's nice to meet you." Her grin turned to a smile as she asked, "So you're traveling. Where to if I can ask?"

"It's nice to meet you as well," Lacey said looking towards Cecile with a smile. "I don't know where I am headed yet, I'm just trying to get away from where I came from." Her smile seemed to fade a little. She looked back at the trees laughing slightly. "It's much colder where I used to live. I wasn't expecting the warm weather, but I guess I can survive." She sighed looking up at the sun which was getting closer to the ground. That thought brought a large smile to her lips. She would be able to freely walk around with out feeling like she was dieing.

Cecile smiled back it was all that she could do at the moment. She listened to Lacey and grinned at her sentences. "I know how you're feeling. I had to get away from my home too. So I came here... a small town but it has it's perks. It's very serene." She sighed as the sun went down. She smiled to herself. Cecile listened again and watched Lacey, "Really?WellI promise you will get used to it. It's only hot in summer. But in winter it gets pretty cold."

"It sounds wonderful, I will definately stop there first. See if I will want to stay," Lacey said just above a whisper. It would be a great contrast to her home. "I won't ever get used to the heat. I am a Winter Spirit, I live for the cold. I'm luckly that I have enough power to stand the heat at all." She closed her eyes and sighed at the thought of winter. "How long will it be till the winter?" She asked turning towards Cecile.

Cecile was glad that Lacey would look around the town. The more people the more welcome. It was only for one reason Cecile welcomed tourists during the summer to the small town... blood, human blood. Cecile could easily get men blood just because of her looks. She then looked up to the skies and thought about something totally random.
Soon Lacey put the bomb on Cecile. 'A Winter Spirit?!' The vampire thought. She was stunned and didn't know what to say. Her mouth went dry and she looked to Lacey. She didn't look like a winter spirit. Well from Cecile's viewpoint. Lacey just looked like a normal human.
When Lacey asked her question, Cecile gave a little giggle, "Oh winter is months away, I'm sorry to say." She smiled and then put her voice in a whisper, "So you do exist, Winter Spirits? Well at least I'm not some of the view mythical creatures. Truth is I'm a vampire." She grinned and leaned back on the tree.

Lacey groaned at the thought of how long she would have to wait for the pleasure of winter. It was much to long for her liking. Cecile's question intreged her. She looked at Cecile, the corners of her lips turn up. "We arn't what people expect or atleast I'm not. I have a lot more power then a normal Winter Spirit does." She turned so that her hole body faced Cecile now.
"A vampire... I haven't seen one of your kind in a long time. There were rumors in my home land that the Queen had to keep out the Vampires because our blood tasted like heaven to them. Have you heard those rumors before?" She asked stepping closer to her, tempting her. She felt like walking on the wild side for a moment.

Lacey was very intriging. But not as Lacey was expecting. Cecile listened to the Winter Spirit and turned to face her. She sighed and said, "Very interesting. I wonder how it came to be that way. Don't tell me... I want to find out myself." She gave an evil grin but it soon went away as Lacey spoke.
Cecile took a step back when Lacey took a step forward. She gave a grin and said bluntly, "Actually no I haven't heard those rumors. I'm sorry to disappoint you. But from where I'm from we've barely heard anything about you guys. I only know stories from my father." She could smell Lacey's blood and it was very tempting but unfortuantly Cecile was full.
