It was exactly six months since Cecile left the small town. She hated leaving the town at some points but then again she liked to leave all the same. She went to several places around the world to have photo shoots taken care of. Of course, Cecile hated when the shoots were outside in the bright sunshine, being a vampire and all. But Cecile grew up with the sun on her back and was used to it. But none the less she still hated it.
Earlier as she neared the small town, Cecile was amazed at how many people were here. Then the sudden thought came across her as to it was summer. 'Have I been gone that long?' Cecile asked herself as she drove into town in her burgundy Mini Cooper. She found her cell phone and text her best friend, Hinata, and asked if he was in town and if he was meet her at the ocean beach front.
After sending the message, Cecile turned the car to the beach and found a parking place. She got out of the car and took off her shoes. She walked onto the sand and let it go between her toes. Cecile walked her way toward the water front and looked into the setting sunset with all it's majestic coloring of reds and oranges.

It took a moment before Hinata got the text message for he just got done performing for a crowd someplace. He was all pipped up and he was loving his music just as always. He got the message as he was leaving to go get lunch and was surprised to see whom it was from.
He a huge smile grew upon his face as he saw the message was from an old friend. It was Cecile, his friend from a while back. He had many friends as already stated before, but this was just one of his better friends that he could count on.
He told the limo driver to go take him to the beach for he had a change of plans. The limo driver did nothing more but do what he was asked. His mind was already fixed upon seeing Cecile again.
She was nothing more but like a sister to him, besides the one he knew he really had out there but never met. His twin sister, he only wondered what it would be like if he actually met his twin. Would they look the same? Act the same? Laugh at the same jokes? Some twins were and some aren't. He just couldn't help but wonder.
The limo came to the beach and from where they were parked he could already see the ocean front. This made him smile even more. He told his driver to get lost along with his guards. But his guards didn't really get lost they just made themselves not noticeable.
He came out into the beach and he took of his shoes to let his toes sink into the sand. It was a warming sensation and he saw Cecile from afar.
He waved to her as he begun to run towards her to embrace.
"My....has it been this long?" he said as they were embracing.

Cecile was so caught up in the moment that she almost didn't notice the limo driving up. But luckily she saw Hinata out of the corner of her eye and she gave a huge smile. She ran up to him and jumped into his arms. She giggled and when finally put down she looked into the face of an old friend. "Yes! It's been TOO long!" Cecile said.
She took step back and began to walk around Hinata. She put her finger to her lips and was thinking. Cecile then came face to face with her friend again and said bluntly, "You've changed. But I can't put my finger on it." She then poked him in the chest playfully and smiled. "Me and my darn photo shoots. It take too much time out of my life. And the same goes to you with your music!" Her smile turned to a grin and and she hugged Hinata around the waist again.
It felt nice to be in her best friend's arms again. He was a brother to her and she was lucky to have him there for all occasions. Cecile always wished for a blood related brother but Cecile was luckier that she had Hinata, another vampire.

Hinata just laughed at Cecile had to examine him to figure something about him has changed. Well for one he was taller, he had grown out his hair, and well he's been working out too.
Hinata just nodded his head when she said it was her modeling that was keeping her away just as it was his music keeping him away as well. Those things did tend to get in the way of friendship but somehow they've looked passed it all.
"So your photo shoot eh? Well do you have a portfolio?" He said with a smile.
"I mean I need proof of this...." he was only joking because he knew that Cecile was a model. He always knew this. It was kind of how they met, he had to do a photo shoot for his band cover pictures when they first started out long ago. It seemed they bonded some how in all of the chaos.

Cecile put her hands on her hips and made a face. She gave the look to Hinata and shook her head. "No I don't have a portfolio with me and why would you need to look -" She then realized that he was teasing and joking. She moved forward and gave him a punch in the arm. She intended to hurt him but it was the opposite. After the punch she shook her hand and looked at it as it turned red, "Ow! That hurt! Have you been working out?!"
She continued to shake her hand as she looked to the ground. She smiled as she found a seashell. Cecile picked it up and waved it in front of Hinata, "Well look what I found. A seashell and I'm not sharing it!" She was kidding now like a little kid and gave Hinata a look with her tongue sticking out. But it soon turned to a smile and Cecile threw the seashell back into the sea.
After watching it land in the deep parts of the ocean, the French Vampire turned back to her best friend, "So how have you been lately? I've missed you and this town. I missed the quietness and the serenity from the busy life." She smiled and sat down on the sand and made herself comfortable.

Hinata just laughed as Cecile said her remarks and was shaking her hands in pain from trying to hurt him but hurt herself.
"Well...I have to stay fit..." he claimed and took a seat next to her down on the sand while brushing off the sand he got on his hands.
"Yeah...it is much more peaceful here." He replied after she said her words. He then gave a small smile.
"But I found my own serenity through music. It's like a whole new life for me, and I don't regret any of it."
Hinata then ran his hands into the sand again feeling it with the palm of his hands. He then brushed off his hands laughing. He used to come to this beach all the time as a child with his father. That was before his father became all busy like, even though he was busy before just not as much as now.
He took over much of the family's business ever since grandfather decided to retire. He was a vampire also, but just the same his human side needed rest also.
Cecile was the only friend that knew Hinata was a vampire only because she too was a vampire. She is a close friend of the family and sort of like a part of the family. At least everyone considers her apart of the family.
Hinata playfully shoved Cecile in the arm just for fun when the silence between them became unsettling.

Cecile gathered her dress as she brought her legs to her chest. She looked out to the ocean and listened to Hinata as he spoke. She scoffed at his remark about staying fit and crossed her eyes to him. She looked back to the sun and winced a bit. She could live with the sun but she wished it never was around. Cecile then found herself on the ground for Hinata shoved her a little hard.
She picked up some sand and gave a grin. She then threw it to her best friend and laughed very loudly. Cecile gave a satisifed nod and brushed off her hands. She smiled as she sat up again. She began to think about Hinata's family and her own. It came to the point when she asked, "So how's the family? I've heard little news from my own and I'm beginning to worry."

Hinata just shook his hair when the sand came flying his way and gave a jolly good laugh too. He then became silent once more and sat there with his eyes at the see. He could resist the sun, but preferred the night as well. He just couldn't be in the sun all the time, it was bad for his own health. But now as the sun was partly covered by clouds everything was fine.
"Oh, the family is great at least I think. I haven't really spoken to my grandfather lately or my father for that matter. My father is always working and my grandfather stays on vacation. I am just swarmed up to my neck with my music so I kind of lost touch with everything myself."
He gave a gentle smile and watched as the waves crashed up against the sand and rocks pulling some of the sand away as it did. He thought of his music as a huge wave. It washed away everything for a moment and everything was at ease. Everything was still at ease sitting here with Cecile, an old friend.

All Cecile could do was nod away as Hinata spoke. She didn't really have words to say. It was silent but Cecile liked it this way even if Hinata didn't. She sighed several times and was happy that the sun was going behind some clouds. At this point Cecile leaned back and laid down in the sand. She closed her eyes and felt and heard her stomach grumble.
She took hold of her stomach and said, "Shut up." She sighed and giggled. She looked to Hinata and said, "I'm so hungry. I haven't had... you know what.... in a long time. We were traveling everywhere and I didn't have time to eat." She let her down and sat up on her elbows.

Hinata knew what was meant by Cecile's words. He knew how sick vampires could also get if not have fed for a while. Plus no food alone for anyone was unsettling.
"Well you drink some of my blood...If you want...and we could get some real food at a really nice diner in town."
Hinata didn't really like talking about being a vampire, it wasn't like he despised what he was because he didn't. It just reminded him he wasn't really normal. It reminded him falling in love would be hard because he would have to tell that special someone of his secrete. He only wondered how they would react and if they would accept him just the same.
Hinata sighed and stood up brushing himself off. Hinata then held out a hand for Cecile to grab a hold of. "Here...have some of my blood."

Cecile's mouth flew open and then she began to shake her head. She looked back to the sea but she couldn't keep her eyes from Hinata. Cecile shook her head again and pushed his hand away. She herself stood up and said, "No. But thank you. I think I'll be fine till I make it home." It was hard to push the chance away but it had to be done. Cecile didn't want to feed off her best friend. But another reason was because she didn't want to hurt him for she was very very hungry and she didn't want her fangs to appear after all the time they went away. Cecile gave him a smile.

Hinata turned his head to the sea as well with his shoes in his hands he gave simple sigh.
"I really wanted to help you...but your the most vulnerable to be dangerous when you haven't fed." He said in a serious tone of voice. The words he spoke weren't lies.
He begun to walk towards the parking lot along side with Cecile. Silence seem to become present again.
"You know you wouldn't hurt me..." he claimed as they were in the parking lot. He had placed back on his shoes and was standing there with his arms folded facing her.
"Why won't you ever let me help you?"
